I’m all back from vaca and semi rested (not sure if it’s ever possible to be fully rested from a vacation with a 4yo!!). I may have packed too quickly, but whilst away, I was without some of my favorite beauty products. π© I am notorious for switching products often and I LOVE getting the samples when shopping at Sephora. It gives me the chance to try things I didn’t know I even needed!! π But, throughout the years there have been a few items that I really liked and have stuck with, soooo I thought I’d share ππ»
First up are my top 3 hair products (affiliate links provided)
1. Dry Shampoo…. this one will allow you to go DAYS in between washes. I made it to 4, and I have fine hair that can get pretty oily. Smells good too! Link β‘οΈ IGK charcoal detox dry shampoo
2. Hair leave in beautifier…. this one has 21 benefits! I am obsessed with the smell of this. Like I said earlier, I have fine hair and it tangles easily, so I use this for detangling after washing my hair. Link β‘οΈ Pureology hair treatment spray
3. Hair hydration mask/ conditioner…. this one says it’s for medium/coarse hair but I use a small amount 1-2 times a week to re-hydrate my hair after heat styling and highlighting. The bonus is, it smells amazing just like the leave in treatment spray! Link β‘οΈ Pureology hair mask
Next up are my top 3 skin products
1. SPF 50 mineral balm…. this product was recommended by my dermatologist. I was unsure in the beginning if I liked it because it feels greasy but contains no oil whatsoever. It makes your face look matte and fills in fine lines and wrinkles. It took some trial and error with layering it with my concealer and foundation but overall to have an SPF 50 that contains 17% zinc….that’s a win! I normally get the med-dark color. Link β‘οΈ MD solar science beauty balm
2. Coffee bean eye cream…… this one is made with natural ingredients. It does smell a bit like coffee, but I certainly don’t mind when I’m smearing it around my eyes at the crack of dawn! It absorbs nicely and reduces puffiness and dark circles. Link β‘οΈ 100% Pure eye cream
3. AHA/BHA Exfoliating cleanser…. this product I use 1-2 times a week. You need an exfoliating cleanser to remove debris from your skin so that your skincare product work at their best potential. This one makes my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Link β‘οΈ Murad age reform exfoliating cleanser (the packaging has changed)
βοΈIf there are any staple products that you use, I want to hear about it! Comment below…. I do like testing new stuff!!βοΈ
Bethany, you should check out Beautycounter products for skin and make up! They promote safer beauty and their products are great! Some of my favs are the Cleansing Balm, Rejuvenating Toner Pads and Charcoal bar and mask!
